I am a professional Graphic Designer with an eye for detail, creative flair and professionalism. I am currently employed full-time as the Senior Designer for one of the largest In-House design studios in the UK. I have also engaged and completed many creative projects on a freelance basis, samples of which you can view on this site. I always approach any creative work with freethinking, attention to detail, total commitment and genuine enthusiasm.
Over the past decade I have gained the following skills and qualifications to grow and enhance my expertise:
- Creative conceptualisation through brainstorming, research and development.
- Proficient in the use of the latest industry standard design software.
- Comprehensive understanding of industry terms, definitions and standards.
- Comprehensive understanding of print processes and production.
In addition to the above I have the following academic qualifications:
- D&AD Yellow Pencil for Student Awards 1998.
- Higher National Diploma in Visual Communication (Distinction).
- National Diploma in Graphic Design (Merit).
- 9 GCSEs including grade (A) in Design and English Language.
As part of my service to clients, I apply a methodical and structured approach to all creative projects, backed by a sound rational. This involves:
- Receiving the brief, clarification and feedback.
- Producing first stage sketches/ideas as concepts for development.
- Developing agreed creative routes from the first stage.
- Delivering the final design to the highest standard of professional finish.
On a personal level, aside from my passion for design, I am married (for almost 10 years) and we have three children. I love spending time with my wife (also my best friend) and family. I am a practicing Muslim and regularly attend Islamic lectures and courses. I enjoy jogging, cycling and keeping fit!
