About Me

I am a professional Graphic Designer with an eye for detail, creative flair and professionalism. I am currently employed full-time as a Senior Graphic Designer and engage in freelance projects during evenings and weekends, samples of which you can view on this site. I always approach any creative work with freethinking, attention to detail, total commitment and genuine enthusiasm.

 

My Experience

Over the past decade I have gained the following skills and qualifications to grow and enhance my expertise:

  • Creative conceptualisation through brainstorming, research and development.
  • Proficient in the use of the latest industry standard design software.
  • Comprehensive understanding of industry terms, definitions and standards.
  • Comprehensive understanding of print processes and production.

In addition to the above I have the following academic qualifications:

  • D&AD Yellow Pencil for Student Awards 1998.
  • Higher National Diploma in Visual Communication (Distinction).
  • National Diploma in Graphic Design (Merit).
  • 9 GCSEs including grade (A) in Design and English Language.

 

My Creative Process

As part of my service to clients, I apply a methodical and structured approach to all creative projects, backed by a sound rational. This involves:

  • Receiving the brief, clarification and feedback.
  • Producing first stage sketches/ideas as concepts for development.
  • Developing agreed creative routes from the first stage.
  • Delivering the final design to the highest standard of professional finish.

Me Personally

On a personal level, aside from my passion for design, I am married (for over 10 years) and we have three children. I love spending time with my wife (also my best friend) and family. I am a practicing Muslim and regularly attend Islamic lectures and courses. I enjoy jogging, cycling and keeping fit!
